We asked for a high floor but were given. Also the floors did not seem the cleanest even though the room is brand new. The biggest problem was the bathroom which was very small, had only one sink and little counter space, and ONE towel hook-there was nowhere to hang towels, wet bathing suits, etc. Our room was fine, the balcony was noisy from the highway, but the room itself was quiet with great privacy shades for sleeping. The hot tub, cabanas, and swim up bar looked nice but otherwise, it's just a big concrete pool, nothing special. It also has zero shade and no umbrellas and uncomfortable looking plastic loungers. First impressions of the pool were not great, as it is right next to a noisy highway. We stayed in a premier king which had a balcony overlooking the new, unopened pool. The new Sky Tower gym was also not open so our resort fee was waived. Unfortunately, the new pool did not open when the Sky Tower did, which is pretty much a complete failure, as it had been touted as a major addition to the resort. This year we were excited to book the new Sky Tower and check out the new pool, Aqua. My husband and I came to Choctaw for a summer getaway to swim at the pool and do a little gambling.
